Resolution - 5470RESOLUTION NO. 5470 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXE- CUTION OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR UTILITY PURPOSES AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that the public conven- ience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement.be executed in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes over certain City -owned property as des- cribed in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Grant of Easement, substantially in the form attached, in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes, and cause said Grant of Easement and a certified copy of this resolution to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. • SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
