A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY (EASTERLY
ANNEXATION NO. 223 - NORTH AND SOUTH
• SIDE OF CAMERON AVENUE, BETWEEN
BARRANCA AND GRAND)
WHEREAS, the City Council consented to the annexa-
tion in their Resolution No. 5403 on February 14, 1977; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of property within the
boundaries of this annexation have given written consent to
be annexed to the City of West Covina; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission
(LAFCO) adopted a Resolution approving Easterly Annexation
No. 223 on April 27, 1977, consisting of that certain prop-
erty specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, LAFCO authorized the City of West Covina
.to proceed without notice and hearing pursuant to Section
No. 54797.1 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the subject properties will not be taxed
for any existing bonded indebtedness or contractual obliga-
tions;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
• 1. That certain uninhabited territory, known as
Easterly Annexation No. 223, and specifically
described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, and by
this reference incorporated herein, is hereby
annexed to the City of West Covina.
2. That the City staff are hereby authorized to
file the appropriate documents with the Local
Agency Formation Commission to permit certifi-
cation of this annexation by the State of
California.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.

of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, those
portions of Lots 1, 12,.13 and 22 of Tract No. 3546 as shown on map
filed in Book 40, pages 82 and 83 of said Maps, and that portion of
Cameron Avenue, 40 feet wide, as shown on said last mentioned map,
