A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION
MAP OF TRACT NO. 22927, ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT
BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE THE
SAME
WHEREAS,.there has been submitted to this meeting by the
owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract
No. 22927 which has been approved by the Planning Commission and by
the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a proposed
agreement by the subdivider for the construction of certain improve-
ments within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by surety
bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of
said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 'L. That the final subdivision map of Tract No. 22927
submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION :2. That the dedication therein offered be and the
same is hereby accepted for public use, subject to any restriction
• to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper officers of
the City of West Covina be and they are hereby authorized and in-
structed to approve said final map on behalf of the City.
SECTION :3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider
in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds numbers 7SM 169 098,
7SM 169 099 and 7SM 169 100 presented as security for the faithful
performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement with
Bauer Development Company as principal, and American Motorist
Insurance Company as surety, in the total sum of Two Hundred Thirty
Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($238,700.00), be
and the same hereby are accepted.
SECTION _`i. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
