A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE
• EXECUTION OF A CORPORATION QUIT CLAIM
DEED AND PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION
THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find and determine that the public convenience and neces-
sity require that the following described City -owned property be
Quit Claimed to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of West Covina:
Those portions of Lots 156 and 169 of E. J. Baldwin's 4th
Subdivision of a part of the Rancho La Puente, as shown on
map recorded in Book 8, page 186 of Maps in the Office of
the County Recorder of said county, included within the
following described lines:
Beginning at the intersection of that certain course in the
land described in deed (State Parcel 1087) to the State of
California, recorded in Book 45888, page 294 of Official
Records of said county, as having a bearing of N 850 50'
12" W, and a distance of 189.09 feet, with the westerly line,
shown as S 030 04- 54" E, 142.95 feet of Parcel 29 of the
proposed Relinquishment No. 910 recorded November 4, 1975 in
Book 14, Page 17 of State Highway Map Book,'in said office;
• thence along said westerly line N 30 04' 54" W, 142.80 feet;
thence N 43 40' 09" W, 76.39 feet; thence S 890 14' 11" W,
11.16 feet to a tangent curve concave Northerly having a
radius of 136.00 feet; thence Westerly along said curve
through an angle of 160 20' 55", an arc distance of 38.81 feet;
thence S 120 56' 59" E, 56.86 feet to a tangent curve concave
Westerly having a radius of 135.00 feet; thence Southerly
along last said curve through an angle of 450 49' 51", an arc
distance of 107.99 feet to the Northeasterly curved line of
the land described in Director's Deed D-26.1 recorded May 26,
1967 in Book D3654, page 655 of said Official Records; thence
Southeasterly along said curved..line.having.a radius of 90.00
feet and being concave Northeasterly though an angle'_of
490 43' 49",.an arc distance of 78.12 feet to that certain
curve described as having a radius of 92,00 feet and being
concave Northerly in the general :Southeasterly'boundary line
of the parcel of land described ,in deed (State Parcel 26.1),
recorded July 30, 1941 and filed as Document No. 14238-J in
said office; thence Southwesterly along last said curve through
an angle of 00 14' 25", an arc dis'tance..of '0.39 feet '.to the`=
above-mentioned-course:_described as having a- distance of 189.09
feet; thence along last said course S,850 50' 12" E, 51.58 feet
to the point of beginning..
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
• and instructed to.execute in the name of the City•of West Covina, a
Quit Claim Deed conveying all right, title and interest of the City
of West Covina in and to said real property to the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of West Covina and when the said Quit Claim Deed has been
.accepted by the Redevelopment Agency of;the'City of West Covina, cause
the said Quit Claim Deed and a Certified copy'of this resolution to
be filed for recordation in the Office.of the County Recorder of the
County of Los Angeles.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
