A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT
TO WEST COVINA PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, PROJECT
NO. 19-0123 - STATE BEACH, PARK, RECREATIONAL
AND HISTORICAL FACILITIES BOND ACT OF 1974
• WHEREAS, Resolution Number 4935 authorizing application and/or agree-
ing to the terms of the project agreement for the subject
project was adopted on August 26, 1974; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to amend the project agreement as follows:
Delete from Description of the Project Agreement, item
number 5, playground equipment for Walmerado Park which
is located in central West Covina at the corner of Merced
Avenue and Walnut Avenue, one and one-half miles south of
Interstate 10. Additionally, change the reference from
five parks to four parks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment to the project
agreement between the State and the City of West Covina
is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized to sign
said agreement and that the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of the resolution and shall forward a certi-
fied copy thereof to the State of California, Department
of Parks and Recreation.
