RESOLUTION NO. 5423
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN
SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN LOT I OF
TRACT 20551
WHEREAS, the dwelling on said Lot I encroaches on the sanitary sewer
easement by five feet, and
WHEREAS, the sewer line has never.been physically built in said easement
and, whereas, the realignment of the sewer line into a public street renders the sanitary
sewer easement no longer needed for sewer purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina does re-
solve as follows: '
SECTION I. Pursuant to Sections 1930 to 19341 inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines
that the following described sanitary easement has been superseded by relocation:
The westerly 10.00 feet of Lot I of Tract 20551 in the. City of
West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, per
map recorded in Book 608, Page 25 of maps on file in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 2. That sanitary sewer easement described in Section I hereof
is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
