Resolution - 5422RESOLUTION NO. 5422 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR UTILITY PURPOSES AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement to be executed in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes over certain City -owned property as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author- ized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Grant of Easement, substantially in the form attached, in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility pur- poses, and cause.said Grant of Easement and a certified copy of this resolut-lon to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. SECTION"3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. 1977.
