RESOLUTION NO. 541`2.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION
MAP OF TRACT NO. 30830, ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT
BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE
THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by
the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of
Tract No. 30830 which has been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been.submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS,- said proposed agreement is accompanied by
surety bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No.. 30830, submitted to this meeting be and the same is here-
by approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for public use, subject to any
restriction to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the
• proper officers of the City of West Covina be and they are here-
by authorized and instructed to approve said final map on be-
half of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the sub-
divider in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the surety bonds Nos. 7ST 340 297,
6ST 340 202, and 7ST 340 315 presented as security for the faith-
ful performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement with
W&A Builders, Inc., as principal, and Lumbermans Mutual Casualty
Company as surety, in the total sum of two hundred twenty one
thousand, two hundred and ten dollars ($221,210), be and the
same hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5.. That the City Clerk -shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
