A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA RESCINDING APPROVAL OF TENTA-
TIVE TRACT MAP NO. 33076. AND REQUESTING THE
PLANNING COMMISSION TO RESCIND.APPROVAL OF
DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO. 14 (PCD-1)
WHEREAS, Tentative Tract Map No. 33076 was recommended
.for approval to. the City Council by the Planning Commission in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 12-76-2701;.and
WHEREAS, pursuant thereto, the City Council on December 13,
1976, approved Tentative Tract Map No. 33076 and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on December 1, 1976,
approved Development Plan No. 14 (PCD-1) by Resolution No. 12-76-2701;
and
WHEREAS, the developer, New Vista Development Corp., has
notified the City Council by letter dated February 15, 1977, that it
desires to abandon said Tentative Tract and Development Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of West Covina as follows:
SECTION 1. Because of the abandonment of+the project by
the developer, the City Council of the City of West Covina hereby
rescinds its approval of.Tentative Tract Map No. 33076, which shall
be of no further force and effect.
• SECTION 2. Because of the abandonment of the project by
the developer, the City Council hereby requests the Planning Commission
of the City of West Covina to rescind its approval of Development Plan
No. 14 (PCD-1), which will thereafter.be' of no further force and effect.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
