A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
• CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY (Easterly Annexation
No. 223 - South Side of Cameron Avenue, Between
Barranca and Grand).
The City Council of .the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby consent to the annexation to the City of West Covina
of that certain parcel of property contiguous to the City of West
Covina in the unincorporated area of the County of Los Angeles
which -is specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and,
by this reference, incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The northern portion of the annexation is
being processed through a pre -zoning action as Single Family
Residential (R-1) and the southern portion is to be developed as
a City park.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk and City staff are hereby
authorized to cooperate with the owners of the property described
in Exhibit A attached hereto in the preparation of the necessary
forms for submitting the proposed annexation to the Local Agency
Formation Commission.
• SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
