A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ACCEPTING FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE.
OF CALIFORNIA A CERTAIN'PARCEL OF LAND
IDENTIFIED AS PARCEL 001086-01-01 (IMPERIAL
SAVINGS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina,
at its regular meeting on the 26th day of January 1976, authorized
by Resolution No. 5188 the purchase from the Department of Trans-
portation, State of California, of a certain parcel of land identified
as Freeway Excess Parcel No. 001086-01-01; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State
of California has transmitted to the City of West Covina a fully
executed Director's Deed conveying to the City the above -mentioned
parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of West Covina as follows:
The City Council hereby accepts said parcel for the
approved purchase price of $44,400 for public purposes, including
public street and highway purposes and the redevelopment of said
property.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Certificate of Acceptance in substantially the form pre-
scribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code, and to cause said
• instrument and said certificate to be filed for record in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this resolution.
