RESOLUTION NO. 5400
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING A
LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT:
WHEREAS, Mr. & Mrs. Max Jinkens, the owners of
two adjacent parcels of land have submitted to this meet-
ing two legal descriptions marked Exhibit "A" and Exhibit
"B",and by reference thereto made a part hereof,,for a lot
line adjustment between the two parcels that are a portion
of Lot 253 of E. J. Baldwin's fifth subdivision, per Map
recorded in Book 12, Pages 134 & 135 of official records,
and a written request for the lot line adjustment and
WHEREAS, said submitted lot line adjustment has
been reviewed by the City Engineer and the Planning Director;
and:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Planning Director have
determined that said lot line adjustment is in conformance
with the Subdivision Map Act and the General Plan of the City
of West Covina;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the lot line adjustment submitted
to this meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
• SECTION 2. That the proper officers of the City of
West Covina be and they are hereby authorized and instructed
to approve said lot line adjustment, per Section 66412(d)
of the Subdivision Map Act, on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution.
Approved and adopted this 14thm day of February ,
1977.

ALSO EXCEPT therefrom that portion conveyedto the city of West Covina, for
Valinda Avenue and Merlinda Street in deed recorded July 3, 1961 as Instru-
