RESOLUTION NO. 5389
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West
Covina does hereby find and determine that a certain portion
of that certain drainage easement located within Lot 41 of
Tract 31481, recorded in Book 57, Pages 6, 7 and 8 of Records
described as follows:
The Westerly 5.00 feet of the Easterly 10.00 feet of Lot 41 of
Tract 31481 in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, per map recorded in Book 857 Pages 6, 7
and 8 of Maps on file in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was
acquired or for any other public purpose; that the public
convenience and necessity require that the same be quitclaimed
to Mark J. Niemeyer and Leslie Jean Niemeyer, husband and wife
as joint tenants.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City
of West Covina a Quitclaim Deed conveying all right, title
and interest of the City of West Covina in and to said real
property to Mark J. Niemeyer and Leslie Jean Niemeyer herein
described, and cause the said Quitclaim Deed and a certified
copy of this resolution to be filed for record in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution. -
