A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL .OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIAl' AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO' 1277 TO FIX THE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PAY-
ABLE TO POLICE OFFICERS. -AGENTS,,-' SERGEANTS,' LIEUTEN-
ANTS AND CAPTAIN WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section VI of Resolution No. 1277, relating to the
salary schedule applicable to police officers, agents, sergeants, lieutenants
and captain is amended to read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and !�
by this reference incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall also be applicable to former
police officers, agents, sergeants, lieutenants and captain who have retired or
terminated between July 1, 1976 and the date hereof.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective as of the first pay
period of July 1976, pursuant to the memorandum of understanding entered into
between the West Covina Police Association and the representatives of the City
of West Covina, dated January 17, 1977.
