A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA VACATING AND ABAN-
DONING A PORTION OF A STREET WHICH HAS
BEEN SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATION (KATHLEEN
COURT)
WHEREAS, the portion adjacent to and southerly of said
Kathleen Court is to be resubdivided, using the vacated portions
of Kathleen Court, and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Court has never been physically built;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 1930 to 1934, inclus-
ive, of the Streets and Highways Code, the City Council of the
City of West Covina hereby finds and determines that the follow-
ing described portion of Kathleen Court has been superseded by
relocation:
That portion of Kathleen Court in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on.Tract
Map No. 28406, per map recorded in Book 866, Pages 21, 22 and
23 and 100 of Maps on file in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, lying southerly of the following described line:
• Beginning at a point on the westerly line of Lot
153 of said Tract 28406, distant North 60 12' 14"
West, 241.58 feet from the most westerly corner
of said Lot 153, said point being the beginning
of a tangent curve concave northeasterly and
having a radius of 40.00 feet; thence easterly
along said curve, through a central angle of
1150 59' 55" an arc length of 80.98 feet to the
beginning of a reverse curve, concave southerly
and having a radius of 40.00 feet; thence easterly,
along lastmentioned curve, through a central angle
of 240 28' 40" an arc length of 17.09 feet.
SECTION 2. That portion of Kathleen Court described in
Section 1 hereof is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
