A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION
VII OF RESOLUTION NO. 1277, APPROVING THE RE-
CLASSIFICATION OF AUTHORIZED (CETA) POSITIONS
IN THE PERSONNEL OFFICE AND CENTRAL SERVICES
• OFFICE FROM CLERK TYPIST TO ACCOUNT CLERK.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Personnel
Board, that portion of Section VII of Resolution No. 1277 containing the list of
authorized positions and salary ranges is hereby amended by amending the para-
graphs establishing the authorized positions in the following offices:
(a) In the Personnel Office:
(1) Eliminating one (1) Clerk Typist (CETI) position, and
(2) Adding one (1) Account Clerk (CETA) position.
(b) In the Central Services Office:
(1) Eliminating one (1) Clerk Typist (CETA) position, and
(2) Adding one (1) Account Clerk (CETA) position.
SECTION 2. The respective reclassifications shall be contingent
upon each incumbent meeting all requirements of the Account Clerk class and suc-
cessfully completing a qualifying examination.
