RESOLUTION NO. 5366
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA REQUESTING THE EXCLUSION FROM
THE COUNTY CONSOLIDATED SEWER MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THAT DISTRICT
WHICH HAS BEEN ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
WHEREAS, certain territory now in the County Consolidated
Sewer Maintenance District has been annexed to the City of West
Covina and the public interest and convenience requires that such
territory be.excluded from the County Consolidated Sewer Maintenance
District; and
WHEREAS, the Health and Safety Code of the State of
California provides that territory in a County Sewer Maintenance
District which is annexed to a City continues in the County Sewer
Maintenance District until excluded therefrom;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles is hereby respectfully requested to exclude from the
County Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District established under
the provisions of the Health and Safety Code the following terri-
tory which has been annexed to the City of West Covina, the
exclusion to be effective for all purposes on July 1, 1977:
All of that territory included in Southerly Annexation _
District 222 of the City of West Covina which is, upon
the date of the adoption of this resolution, included
in the County Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District.
SECTION 2. A copy of the ordinance adopted by the
City Council of the City of West Covina annexing the territory
referred to in Section 1 hereof to the City of West Covina is
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles.

regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of December, 1976,
