Resolution - 53621�1 40 RESOLUTION NO. 5362 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN FAVOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA E DI S ON COMPANY FOR UTILITY PURPOSES AT PALM VIEW PARK AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby find and determine that the public con- venience and necessity require that a Grant of Easement be executed in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes over certain City -owned property as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by reference hereto made a part hereof. SECTION.2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina a Grant of Easement in favor of Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes, and cause said Grant of Easement and a certified copy of this resolution to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. ATTEST: APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1976. City Merk 1 V00 V ��M_ 11EP X�' W, I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of December, 1976, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: NOES: Councilmen: ABSENT: Councilmen: APPROVED AS TO FORM: Miller, Chappell, Shearer, Tice, Browne None None EXHIBIT "A" Two(2) strips of land, lying within a portion of Lot 1, Block 18, Phillips Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 9, pages 3 and 4 of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of the Recorder of said County; the centerlines of said strips being described as follows: STRIP NO. 1: 6 feet wide Beginning at a point in the southerly line of Puente Avenue, 82 feet wide as now established, distant westerly thereon 267 feet from the centerline of Lark Ellen Avenue, 80 feet wide as now established; thence southeasterly 83 feet, more or less, to a point that is distant southerly 23 feet and distant westerly 189 feet, measured at right angles respectively, from said southerly line and the centerline of said Lark Ellen Avenue; said point being hereinafter referred to as Point "A". STRIP NO. 2: 8 feet wide Beginning at the above mentioned Point 'W';-thence southeasterly 10 feet, to a point that is distant southerly 29 feet and distant westerly 182 feet, measured at right angles respectively, from said southerly line and the centerline of said Lark Ellen Avenue 0
