RESOLUTION NO. 5361
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF
The City Council of the City.of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find and determine that a certain portion of Lot 153
of Tract 28406, recorded in Book 866, Pages 21, 22, 23, and 24
of Records bounded as follows:
Bounded Southerly by the Northerly line of Gemini Street; bounded
Northerly by the following described line: Beginning at a point
on the Westerly line of said Lot 153, distant North 60 12' 14"
West, 241.58 feet from the most Westerly corner of said Lot 153,
said point being the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 40.00 feet; thence Easterly, along
said curve, through a central angle of 1150 59' 55" an arc length
of 80.98 feet.
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was
acquired <o.r, for any other public purpose; that the public
convenience and necessity require that the same be quitclaimed
to Donald L. Bren Company.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and instructed to execute in the name of the City of West Covina
a Quitclaim Deed.conveying all right, title and interest of the
City of West Covina in and to said real property to Donald, L.
Bren Company herein described, and cause the said Quitclaim Deed
and a certified copy of this resolution to be filed for record
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
