A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ORDERING THE VACATION
4t OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS -OF -WAY
LOCATED WITHIN THE WEST COVINA FASHION
PLAZA COMPLEX.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West
Covina does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
(a) That on the 25th day of October, 1976, at a
regular meeting of said Council, Resolution No. 5338 was duly
adopted by a vote of said Council setting the time for hearing
on the proposed vacation of certain easements and rights -of -way
located within the West Covina Fashion Plaza complex.
(b) That said area proposed to be vacated is more
particularly described as follows:
PARCEL 1. That certain public utility easement, recorded
on July 20, 1960, as Instrument No. 3183 in Book D-916 Page 908
of deeds on file in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County.
• PARCEL 2. That certain storm drain easement, recorded
on November 16, 1962, as Instrument No. 4075 in Book D-1825
Page 653 of deeds on file in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County.

(c) That on the 22nd day of November, 1976 at a
regular Council Meeting the said City Council did hold a public
hearing to determine whether the said area above described
should be vacated.
SECTION 2. It hereby is found, determined, and
declared by the City Council of the City of West Covina, after
hearing the evidence adduced, that the above described easement
and right-of-way within the City of West Covina is not necessary
for present or prospective public purposes and the general welfare
and convenience of the City of West Covina require that the same
be vacated. The said easement and right-of-way above described
hereby is vacated.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and cause the same to be recorded
with the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles
and to file all other necessary documents in order that this
vacation become effective.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution no. 5349 was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 22nd day of November
1976, by the following vote of the Council.
AYES: Councilmen: Miller, Chappell,.Shearer, Tice, Browne.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: None.
