A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE SALARY
RESOLUTION NO. 1277 RELATING TO THE NUMBER OF
AUTHORIZED -POSITIONS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 7. of the Footnotes to the List of
Authorized Positions and Salary Ranges, applicable to Police Officers,
in Section VII of the Salary Resolution No. 1277, is amended to read:
117. A one-step differential for assignment as Detective
for up to eleven (11) Police Officers and one (1)
Sergeant. In addition to the number of authorized
full-time positions of Police Officer, additional
full-time positions, not to exceed four (4), are
authorized.
Appointments to the additional positions provided
for in this footnote may only be made with the prior
approval of the City Manager."
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
