A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
1277., ADJUSTING COMPENSATION PAYABLE TO CERTAIN
SPECIFIED .CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows
SECTION 1;: Pursuant to the Personnel Board recommendation,
the following classes of positions are amended as follows:
a. Recreation and Parks Department
(1) Recreation Supervisor I Class to Pay Range 26.
(2) Recreation Supervisor II Class to Pay Range 29.
b. Street Department
Maintenance Electrician Class to Pay Range 28.
c. Communications Department
Communications Technician Class to Pay Range 28.
d. Building Department
(1) Building Inspector Class to Pay Range 28a.
(2) Senior Building Inspector Class to Pay Range 30.
e. Engineering Department
• General Public Works Inspector Class to Pay Range 28a.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the Personnel Board recommendation,
a footnote be added to "Footnotes to the List of Authorized Positions
and Salary Ranges," applicable to Senior Building Inspectors, in
Section VII of the Salary Resolution No. 1277, to read as follows:
"An employee occupying the Senior Building Inspector
position may receive a differential of from 2z% to 10%
of base salary when performing "clerk of the works" func-
tions for the City above the duties of the Senior Building
Inspector class, and when and for the time period authorized
by the City Manager."
SECTION 3. The reassignment in ranges provided for herein
shall be effective as of the first pay period in October, 1976, in
accordance with Resolution No. 5336.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
