RESOLUTION NO. 5339 .
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO MAKE A
PREAPPLICATION FOR REALLOCATED METROPOLITAN
DISCRETIONARY FUNDS PURSUANT TO THE FEDERAL HOUSING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina hereby
declares its intention to make a Preapplication for Reallocated Metropolitan
Discretionary Funds in the amount of $50,000 pursuant to the provisions of
the Federal Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and authorizes
the City Manager to proceed with the preparation of the necessary applica-
tions for approval by the City Council.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of West Covina
authorizes the City Manager, if successful in the Preapplication, to make
application for the Reallocated Metropolitan Discretionary Funds in the
amount of $50,000 pursuant to the Federal Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 25th day of October 1976.
