A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA DESIGNATING THE AGEN-
CIES OF THE CITY TO PREPARE CONFLICT OF
• INTEREST CODES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THE POLITICAL REFORM ACT
OF 1974 AND DIRECTING THE PREPA.RA.TION
OF SUCH CODES
as follows:
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
SECTION 1. The following department heads and boards
and commissions of the City are hereby designated and directed to
prepare and adopt a Conflict of Interest Code applicable to the depart-
ment or the members of the board or commission in accordance with
the provisions of the Political Reform Act of 1974:
City Council, City Manager, City Clerk, City
Treasurer, City Attorney, Director of Finance,
Director of Planning, Planning Commission,
. Director of Recreation & Parks, . Recreation &
Parks Commission, Personnel Board, The
Redevelopment Agency of 'th=eCity of West
Covina, the Police Chief, The Fire Chief,
The City Engineer, The Director of Building
& Safety, and the Department Head of every
other City department.
SECTION 2. Each of the above -designated department
heads and boards and commissions is directed to prepare a proposed
Conflict of Interest Code and submit it to the City Council no later than
November 1, -1976.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to furnish the
"Model Conflict of Interest Code" approved by this City Council to each
of the above -designated department heads and agencies as a basis for
. the preparation of the proposed codes.
