A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY
TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1976.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the taxable property within the City as a revenue to
carry on the various departments of such City for the current fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1976, and to pay the bonded or other indebtedness
of such City, is hereby fixed as follows:
For the General Fund for the carrying on of
the various departments ................... $1,383,741
For the Capital Outlay Fund .................. 322,900
TOTAL GENERAL FUND PURPOSES ................... $1,706,641
For the Park Fund... . ••
........ ........ •.. 403,164

For Civil Defense and Disaster Preparedness... 30,099
For the Special Fund for Employees' Retirement

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
adoption. The City Clerk shall immediately after the adoption of this
Resolution cause a certified copy thereof to be filed with the Auditor -
Controller of the County of Los Angeles. In accordance with Section 36936.1
of the Government Code, the City Clerk shall cause publication of this
Resolution in the same manner and within the same time as ordinances are
required to be published.
