RESOLUTION NO. 5 30 3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
SECTION VII OF RESOLUTION NO. 1277, RELATING
TO AUTHORIZED POSITIONS IN THE POLICE DE-
PARTMENT
The City Council of the City of West Covina"does resolve
as follows
SECTION 1. Section VII of Resolution No. 1277 containing
the list of authorized positions and salary ranges is hereby
amended by amending the paragraph establishing the. authorized
positions in the Police Department by the addition of one (1)
position of Police Officer, resulting in a total of 48 authorized
Police Officer positions.
SECTION 2. The additional Police Officer position pro-
vided for in Section 1 of this resolution is designed to permit
the department to fill a position during the disability leave of
Police Officer Larry Ryther. When this disability leave is termi-
nated, the number`of.P,olice Officer positions provided for shall
revert to 47.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this -resolution..
