• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR
ELECTRICAL PERMITS AND PLAN CHECKING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A fee for each electrical permit shall be paid to
the Building Official as set forth in the following Schedule of
Fees:

Power Apparatus
For Motors, Generators, Transformers, Rectifiers, Con-
verters, Capacitors, Industrial Heating, Air Condi-
tioners and Heat Pumps, Cooking or Baking Equipment,
and Other Apparatus, as follows:

NOTE 1. For equipment or appliances having more than
one Motor, Transformer, Heater, etc., the
sum of the combined ratings may be used.
NOTE 2. These fees include all Switches, Circuit
Breakers, Contactors, Thermostats, Relays,
and other directly related control equipment.
Busways
For Trolley and Plug-in Type Busways, each 100 feet
or fraction thereof..... ..................... 3.00
NOTE: An additional fee will be required for Light-
ing Fixtures, Motors, and other Appliances
that are connected to Trolley and Plug-in
Type Busways. No fee is required for
Portable Tools.

NOTE: Swimming Pool fee includes pump motors, inte-
gral lighting fixtures, and all wiring and
outlets necessary for operation of same. For
additional electrical outlets or equipment,
see Unit Fee Schedule above.
SECTION 2. A plan checking fee of one-half the total electri-
cal permit fees shall be paid at the time of submitting plans and
making application for permit for all buildings where the work to be
installed consists of a total connected load of 400 amps or greater
or when the service switch is rated at 400 amps or greater.
SECTION 3. Where additional inspections are made necessary
due to work not being ready at the time specified or due to work
not corrected after prior written correction notice, an additional
fee of $10.00 may be required by the Building Official prior to
reinspection.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective upon the
. effective date of Ordinance No. 1306.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
