A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, PRESCRIBING THE ACCOUNTING PROCEDURE
APPLICABLE TO CITY DEPARTMENTS WITH REFERENCE TO
MISCELLANEOUS CASH RECEIPTS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. On a daily basis each City department shall
prepare an itemized report of all miscellaneous cash received by
the department. The report together with the cash received shall
be transmitted to the Chief Finance Officer. On a daily basis the
Chief Finance Officer shall transmit the cash receipts to the City
Treasurer. The Chief Finance Officer:,,.°shall post the cash receipts
to the appropriate accounts and a copy of the posting shall be
delivered to the City Treasurer.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become operative on the
first day of October, 1976.
. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
