A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, APPROVING HILLSIDE MODIFICATION
• NO. 5 (South Hills Estates - Southport Development Corp.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that the application
of Southport Development Corporation for a modifi-
cation of the front yard setback requirements in the R-I (single family) Zone, Area
District IV for 15 lots in the South Hitis Estates area, was duly made, that a hearing
thereon was duly held by the Planning Commission after legal notice thereof, that the
Planning Commission approved said modification by its Resolution No. 6-76-2662, that
the applicant thereafter modified its request to eliminate the need for the modification
for eight lots, that the matter came regularly before the City Council which held a
hearing thereon after legal notice thereof.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the following setback
requirements for the following lots in Tract No. 29957:

SECTION 3. The City Council finds and determines that the modifi-
cations in setback requirements hereby approved is a
minor alteration in land use regulations and as such is categorically exempt under the
California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State guidelines.
