A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVI'NA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REPORT OF
THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY MADE PURSUANT TO
THE REQUIREMENTS OF RESOLUTION NO. 5253 OF SAID
. COUNCIL.
WEST COVINA WOODSIDE VILLAGE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT NO. 5 - 1976-1977.'
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, did in
Resolution No. '5253, adopted June 14, 1976, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Landscaping and Lighting Act of 197211 of the State of California (Part 2 of
Division 15'of the Streets and Highways Code of said State), require the City
Engineer to make and file with the Clerk of the City Council a report in
writing, presenting certain matters relating to the proposed maintenance of
existing 1andsc::p,ih ,. in designated areas; replacement and modification of said
landscaping when necessary within said District, as:,-. contemplated under the pro-
visions of said "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972".; and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer, pursuant to the requirements of.said City
• Council as expressed in Resolution No. 5253 and of said law, did make and on
the 25th day of 3une , 1976, file in the office of the City Clerk (who is ex-
officio'Clerk of the City Council) of said City, his report-Ap writing respon

sive to the requirements of said Resolution No. 5253 and of said law referred
to in said Resolution No: 5253 and as contemplated.under .the provisions of said
"Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972"; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has presented the said report to the City Council
of said City,and4said Council has proceeded to carefully, examine, inspect and
consider the. said report and has afforded all' persons interested.an opportunity
to be heard with reference thereb6, and is satisfied with said report and with
each and a'l'l of the items therein set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST.COV►NA, CALIFORNIA
DOES.'HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
• SECTION 1. That the report of the City Engineer of the City of West
Covina, California, bearing date 'the 25th day of June , 1976, which said re-
port was prepared and filed pursuant to the.requirements of the provisions of
Resolution No. 5253 of the City Council of said City, and in conformity with
the provisions"of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 197211, of the State of
California (Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code -of said
State), and which said report was filed in the office of the 'City.Clerk(who
• is ex-officio Clerk of the City Council) of. the City of West Covina, California,
on the 25th day of June , 1976, be and the same is hereby' approved as so pre-
pared, presented and filed.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the.passage and adoption
,of this resolution, shall cause the same to be entered among the original
resolutions of'the City Council of said City and shall make a minute of the
pvassage and adoption thereof in the records of.the proceedings of the City
Council of ,4aid City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is
passed and adopted.
