A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING -THE REPORT
OF -THE,- CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY MADE PURSUANT TO
• THE REQUIREMENTS OF RESOLUTION N0. 5250 OF SAID
COUNCIL.
WEST.COVINA WOODSIDE VILLAGE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT NO. 4 (1976-1977).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of.West Covina, California, did
in Resolution No. 5250. adopted . June 14 , ' 1976, pursuant to the provi-
sions of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972" of the State of.California
(Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of said State), require
the City Engineer to make and file with the Clerk of the City Council a report
in writing, presenting certain matters relating to the proposed maintenance of
existing landscaping in designated areas; replacement and modification of said
landscaping when necessary within said District, as contemplated under the pro-
visions of said "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 197211; and
is WHEREAS, said City Engineer, pursuant to .the requirements of said City
Council as expressed in Resolution No. 5250 and of said law, did make and on
the 14th day of June, 1976, file in the office of the City Clerk (who is ex-officio
Clerk of the City Council) of said City, his report in writing- responsive to the
requirements of said Resolution No. 5250 and of said."-. aw,-ref erred ito, irn;=said:::
Resolution No. 5250 and as contemplated under the provisions of said
"Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972"; and
WHEREAS, sai;d'City Clerk has presented the said report to the City Council
of said City, and said Council has proceeded to carefully -examine, inspect and
consider the said report and Eras- afforded—a•11 persons interested an opportunity
to be heard with reference thereto, and is satisfied with said report and with
each and all of the items`therein set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report of the City Engineer of the City of West
Covina, California, bearing date the 14th day of June, 1976, which said report
was prepared and filed pursuant to the requirements of the provisions of

Resolution No. 5250 of the City Council. of,,said City, and in conformity with
the provisions -of the "Landscaping and'Lighting Act of .197211, of the State.of
California (Part-;,2-,of Di-v:ision -15 of the Streets and Highways Code of said
State), and which said report was filed in the.offi.ce of the City Clerk:(who
• is ex-officio Clerk of the City.Council) of the City of West Covina, California,.
on the 14th day of June, 1976, be and the.same is hereby approved as so prepared,
presented and filed.
SECTION 2. That.the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adop-
tion of this resolution, shall -cause the same to be entered among the original
resolutions of the City Council of'said City and shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day.of June, 1976.
