A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVI.NA,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE.CITY.ENGINEER TO.PREPARE AND FILE
A REPORT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 1, PART 2,
"LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972",.BEING DIVISION 15,
• STREETS AND HIGHWAYS.CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF*LANDSCAPING AND THE MAINTENANCE THEREOF
IN THE CITY OF WEST COVI.NA, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR COMMENCING ON.JULY 1, 1976, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1977.
WEST COVINA WOODSIDE VILLAGE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT N0. 4.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, pro-
poses to form an assessment district' pursuant to the "Landscaping and Lighting
Act_of 197211, being Division 15, Part 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it;is proposed that said Maintenance District shall maintain
certain landscaping previously installed in the area of the City commonly re-
ferred to as Woodside Village Landscaping Maintenance District No. 4, and as
shown on map entitled "Project Boundaries, Woodside Village Maintenance
• District No. 41, in the City of West Covina, herein attached is.Exhibit.l; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to mtaintain the landscaping and appurtenant
facilities within said maintenance area as shown on map entitled ''Tentative
Maintenance Areas, Woodside Village Maintenance District No. 41, City of West
Covina, herein is attached Exhibit 2;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare and file
a.report in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 1, Part 2, "Landscaping and Lighting
Act of 197211, being Division 15, Part 2, Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, for the maintenance of said designated areas in said District for
the fiscal year -commencing July 1, 1976, and ending June 30, 1977, all as set
forth in this: resolution.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be presented to
the said City Engineer for his information and guidance.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk: -shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution; shall cause the same to be entered among the original resolu-
tions of said City; and shall -make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof

in
the
records
of
the proceedings;of
the City
Council of said City in -the minutes
of
the
meeting
at
which the same is
passed and
adopted.
