A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION
MAP OF TRACT NO. 30682 ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT
BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE
THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by
the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of
Tract No. 30682 which has been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by
surety bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No. 30682 submitted to this meeting be and the same is here-
by approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for public use, excepting the
offer to grant .lots 65, 66, & 67, subject to any restrict-
ion to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper
officers of the City of West Covina be and they are hereby
authorized and instructed to approve said final map on be-
half of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the sub-
divider in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the surety bonds Nos::: 6ST 340 001,.
6ST 340 002, and 6ST 340 003 presented as security for the
faithful performance the terms and conditions of said agree-
ment with W&A Builders, Inc., as principal, and Lumbermans Mutual
Casualty Company as surety, in the total sum of Three Hundred
Ninety Three Thousand Two Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($393,230),
be and the same hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
