RESOLUTION NO. 5243
A RESOLUTION OF -THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ACCEPTING THE GRANT FOR THE EAST
VALLEY BURGLARY INVESTIGATION TEAM PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE AND THE
CITY MANAGER TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT.
The City Council.;of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
hereby accepts the grant for the East Valley Burglarly Investigation
Team Project under Section.30.1(b) of the Omnibus Crime Control and
Safe Streets Act of 1968 (PL-90-351), as amended.
SECTION 2. The Chief of Police of the City of West
Covina and the City Manager of the City of West Covina are hereby
authorized to implement the project -and to take such action as
is necessary to see that the project is carried out pursuant to
the approved grant application in accordance with the requirements
thereof and of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of
1968, as amended.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
