A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA ORDERING THE WITHDRAWAL OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE WEST COVINA SEWER
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
(a) That on the 26th day of April, 1976, at a regular
meeting of said Council, Resolution No. 5233 was duly adopted by
a vote of said Council setting the time for hearing on the pro-
posed withdrawal of certain territory from the West Covina Sewer
Maintenance District.
(b) That said area proposed to be withdrawn is all of
that area included in City of Covina Southerly Annexation District
67.
(c) That on the 24th day of May, 1976, at a regular
Council Meeting the said City Council did hold a public hearing
to determine whether the said area abovedescribed should be
withdrawn.
• SECTION 2. It hereby is found, determined, and declared
by the City Council of the City of West Covina, after hearing the
evidence adduced, that the abovedescribed area will not be bene-
fitted by continuing in the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District
and that the remaining area in said district will be benefitted by
continuing as the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District... It is
hereby ordered that the area included in City of Covina Southerly
Annexation District 67 be and it is withdrawn from the West Covina
Sewer Maintenance District.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and cause the same to be recorded with the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles and to file
all other necessary documents in order that this withdrawal become
effective.
