Resolution - 5233RESOLUTION NO. 5233 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO WITHDRAW CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE WEST COVINA SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT. ® The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows.: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Covina has, by Resolution No. 3418, requested that that certain area known as Southerly Annexation District 67 of the City of Covina be excluded from the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of West Covina hereby finds and determines that the area within Southerly Annexa- tion District 67 to the City of- Covina may not be benefited by remaining within the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District. SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby fix May 24, 1976, at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of West Covina located at 1444 West. Garvey Avenue, West Covina, California, as the time and place for a public hearing on the question of the withdrawal of that certain territory included within Southerly Annexation District 67 of the City of Covina from the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall cause notice of such hearing to be published by one insertion in the West Covina Tribune at least five days prior to the date fixed for the public hearing by publishing a copy of this resolution. Copies of this resolution shall also be posted at least one week prior to the date fixed for ® the hearing in three conspicuous places within that portion of the maintenance district sought to be withdrawn and in three conspicuous places within the remaining portion of the district. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 26th day of April 1976.
