RESOLUTION NO. 5227
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA COMMENDING TOM
LIPMAN FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, TOM LIPMAN has served.on the Los Angeles County -West
Covina Civic Center Authority since its establishment
in February of 1967; and
WHEREAS, this Joint Public Authority was the first in Los
Angeles County to be instituted for the construction
of public buildings; and
WHEREAS, the present West Covina Civic Center Complex was the
result of the Authority's labor; and
WHEREAS, TOM LIPMAN has also served as Chairman of the Board
along with active memberships in other organizations,
which demonstrates his complete concern for our
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA hereby commends TOM LIPMAN for his
services to the City and expresses herewith sincere
appreciation for his dedication to the work of the Los
• Angeles County -West Covina Civic Center Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a
certified copy thereof to TOM LIPMAN.
