A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA DESIGNATING CERTAIN
CITY EMPLOYEES TO EXECUTE APPLICATIONS AND
DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE FEDERAL CIVIL
DEFENSE ACT AS AMENDED.
I
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The following named individuals are hereby
authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of West Covina,
a public entity established under the laws of the State of Calif-
ornia, applications and documents for the purpose of obtaining
financial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950,
As Amended, (Public Law 920, 81st Congress, 50 U.S.C. 2251-2297).

SECTION 2. This resolution of authorization shall remain
in full force and effect until superseded or rescinded by resolu-
tion of this Council transmitted in duplicate to the California
Office of Emergency Services.
• SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to send two (2) certified copies of this resolution to
the California Office of Emergency Services, for filing with said
Office.
