A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ADOPTING THE 1976
EDITION OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction, 1976 Edition, written and promulgated
by the Joint Committee of the Southern California Chapter
of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the
Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and
WHEREAS, three copies of the aforementioned
Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction
have been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of West Covina and
WHEREAS, said Standard Specifications apply to all
public works construction performed in the City of West Covina
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction, 1976 Edition, as heretofore mentioned,
are hereby adopted intot:o-1 for use in public works construc-
tion by the City of West Covina.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is hereby instructed
• to prepare the necessary amendments to the Municipal Code and
correct the references from the 1973 Edition of the Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construction to the current
Edition of the Standard.Specifications for Public Works
Construction.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

1976.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of April ,
