RESOLUTION NO. 5219
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION MAP OR TRACT NO. 31522 AC-
CEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER
AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting
by the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map
of Tract No. 31522 which has been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by
a surety bond for the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No. 31522 submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for public use, subject to
and restrictions to be filed and recorded therewith; and that
the proper officers of the City of West Covina be and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to approve said final
map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the
subdivider is the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bond Nos. BX5-257370
and BX5-257371 presented as security for the faithful perfor-
mance of the terms and conditions of said agreement with
Curtis Poet,Contracting as principal and the Balboa Insurance
Company as surety, in the total sum of Twelve Thousand Three
Hundred Thirty and no/100 Dollars ($12,330.00), be and the
same hereby is accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution.
