A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 30982,
ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER
AND SURETY BOND TO SECURE THE SAME
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by
the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of
Tract No. 30982 which has been approved by the Planning Commis-
sion and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by a
surety bond for the faithful performance of the terms and con-
ditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No. 30982 submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby
approved.
• SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for public use, excepting the
offer to grant Lots 62 and 63, subject to any restrictions to
be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper officers
of the City of West Covina be and they are hereby authorized
and instructed to approve said final map on behalf of the City.

SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the sub-
divider in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds No. 7204180,
7204181'and 7204191, presented as security for the faithful
performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement with
Donald L. Bren as principal and the American Insurance Company
as surety, in the total sum of Two Hundred Thirty Four Thousand
Three Hundred Seventy Dollars ($234,370), be and the.same
hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution No. 5216
was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina
at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day
of March, 1976, by the following vote of the Council:

• NOES: Councilmen: None
