RESOLUTION NO. 5213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY (Bauer
Development Company - Pass and Covina Road
and Maplegrove).
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby consent to the annexation to the City of West Covina
of that certain parcel of property contiguous to the City of West
Covina in the unincorporated area of the County of Los Angeles which
is specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and, by this
reference, incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 1294 enacted by the City Council
of the City of West Covina on March 22, 1976 prezoned the property
described in Exhibit A attached hereto as Single Family Residential
(R-1) Zone, Area District I.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk and City staff are hereby
authorized to cooperate with the owners of the property described
in Exhibit A attached hereto in the preparation of the necessary
forms for submitting the proposed annexation to the Local Agency
Formation Commission.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 22nd day of March 1976.

A portion of Pass and Covina Road vacated by resolution No. 4325
recorded in Book D-551, Page 601 of Official Records in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
• and a portion of Pass and Covina Road as it now exists, together with
a portion of Maplegrove.Street, (formerly Abel Street) as conveyed to
said County of Los Angeles by deed recorded in Book D-470, Page 794 of
Official Records in the office of said County Recorder, described as a
whole as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly Prolongation of the
northerly line of Lot 1, Tract No. 517, as per map recorded in Book 15,
Page 16 of Maps in the office of said County Recorder with a line parallel
With and distant northeasterly 30.00 feet, measured at right angles,
from the northeasterly line of said Lot 1; thence Southeasterly along
said parallel line to the southerly terminus of a curve, concentric
with and 30.00 feet southwesterly, measured radially from that certain
500 foot radius curve in the westerly boundary of Lots 37, 38 and 39
in Tract No. 13875, as per map recorded in Book 284, Pages 41 and 42
of Maps in the office of said County Recorder;

through the point of intersection of the easterly line of Pass and Covina
Road, 60.00 feet wide as shown on said Map of Tract No. 517 with accurve
