A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING UNCLASSIFIED USE PERMIT NO.
71, REVISION 5 (AMENDMENT) (AS ADOPTED BY CITY
COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS NO. 4919 AND 5040).
• WHEREAS, the City Council has proposed amendments to
Unclassified Use Permit No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment), and after
notice and hearing, has determined that the public peace, health
and safety require the adoption of said amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The following amendments to Unc_la_s_s_ified Use
Permit No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment), as adopted by City Council
Resolutions No. 4919 and 5040, are hereby adopted:
(a) Section 2 thereof is amended to read:
"2. EFFECTIVE DATE
Unclassified Use Permit No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment)
is approved and will become effective when the West Covina
Planning Commission finally approves a Master Development Plan
as set forth in Condition 5 of this Unclassified Use Permit.
Unclassified Use Permit No. 71, as modified by Revisions 1-4
and 6, shall remain operative and in effect until Unclassified
Use Permit No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment) is effective. This
Unclassified Use Permit No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment) shall
cease to be effective for any purpose on July 1, 1976."
(b) Section 34 thereof is amended to read:
"34. BUSINESS LICENSE
Permittee shall at all times possess a current and valid
business license issued in accordance with the City of West
Covina's business license ordinance, while operations are being
conducted under this permit. Said business license shall be
promptly renewed and the required business license taxes paid
when due and any delinquency in such renewal or in the payment
of the business license taxes when due shall constitute suf-
ficient grounds for the immediate suspension of this permit."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall give notice of a public
hearing to be held before the City Council on June 14, 1976, at
8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall for the
purpose of considering additional amendments to Unclassified Use Permit
No. 71, Revision 5 (Amendment) (as adopted by City Council Resolutions
No. 4919 and 5040).
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
