• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAIN-
ING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM
WAGES TO BE PAID UPON PUBLIC WORK WITHIN THE
CITY
The City Council of the City of West Covina. does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursua.nt to Sections 1773 and 1773.1
of the Labor Code, the City Council does hereby ascertain a.nd
declare the general prevailing rate: of per diem wages, the
general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work a.nd the
employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation
and simila.r purposes, for each cra.ft, classification or type
of workman needed in the execution of contra.cts for public
work in the loca.lity of the City of West Covina., to be set
forth in thoseccettai.n schedules entitled "1975 Wage Scales
for the Six Basic Trades", and "1975 Sub -Trades, Hourly Wage
Ra.tes of Building and Construction Trades Unions", which are
on file in the Office of the City Clerk and by this reference
incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk sha.11 certify to the
• adoption of this resolution and shall file a. certified copy
thereof with the Director of Industrial Relations of the
State of California. pursuant to Section 1773.3 of the Labor
Code, and shall cause the same to be published once in the
West Covina, Tribune.
