RESOLUTION NO. 5188
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LA14D IDENTIFIED
AS PARCEL 001086-01-01.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
hereby finds, determines and declares that the public interest and
necessity require the purchase of that certain parcel of real
property described in the letter of the Department of Transportation
addressed to the City Manager of the City of West Covina under date
of December 15, 1975 and identified as Parcel 001086-01-01.
SECTION 2. The acquisition of said parcel of real property
is required for public purposes including public street and highway
purposes and the redevelopment of property.
SECTION 3. The Mayor of the City of West Covina is authorized
to execute that certain offer to sell said parcel of real property
as contained in the letter from the Department of Transportation
dated December 15, 1975 and addressed to the City Manager of the
City of West Covina, the purchase price of the property to be at
its appraised value of $44,400.00.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a copy thereof to the Depart-
ment of Transportation, State of California.
