A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA RESERVING THE PEROGATIVE OF THE
CITY COUNCIL TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASED COMPENSATION
FOR CERTAIN EXEMPT EMPLOYEES TO BE EFFECTIVE THE
FIRST PAY PERIOD OF JANUARY, 1976.
• WHEREAS, it has been customary to provide for merit increases
for certain exempt employees during the month of January, and
WHEREAS, recommendations for such adjustments have not
been completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby reserves the Derogative
of providing for increased compensation for certain exempt employees
during the month of February and to make any such increases effective
as of the first pay period in January, 1976.'
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
