A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ADOPTING THE GOALS AND POLICY
STATEMENTS FOR THE REVISION OF THE GENERAL PLAN
OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA (Planning Commission
Resolution No. 2618).
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following revision and amendment to the
General Plan of the City of West Covina was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that
public hearings thereon were duly held by the.Planning Commission
and by the City Council and that the public convenience, necessity and
general welfare require that the following revision and amendment
to the General Plan be made.
SECTION 2. The goals and policy statements of the General
Plan of the City of West Covina, a copy of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted and, by this reference,
incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the negative declaration of environmental impact for the
project as adopted by the Planning Commission, after notice and
public hearing is adequate, has been prepared in accordance with
the California Environment Quality Act of 1970 and the.State Guide-
lines and is hereby adopted by the City Council. The City Council
does also find and declare that the goals and policy statements
• hereby adopted for the revision of the General Plan will serve to
enhance and protect the environment of the City of West Covina.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
