RESOLUTION NO. 5167
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE APPLICATION
FOR SECOND YEAR GRANT FUNDS PURSUANT TO THE
FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974 APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of.West Covina,
after holding.the required public hearings and receiving the
recommendations of the Citizens Advisory Committee, does hereby
approve the application for second year grant funds pursuant to
the provisions of the United States Housing and Community Develop-
ment Act of 1974 for the City's community development program and
authorizes the City Manager to execute the application on'behalf
of the City of West Covina.
SECTION 2. The Environmental Impact Report prepared in
connection with the application for second year grant funds and
the projects proposed to be financed with such funds is hereby
determined to be adequate, is consistent with the California
Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the State Guidelines, and
is hereby approved.
SECTION 3, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
