RESOLUTION NO. 5165
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED
IN FAVOR OF WEST COVINA HOSPITAL, AND
DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF
The City Council of. the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION l.. The City Council of the.City of West Covina
does hereby find and determine that that certain portion of Orange
Avenue now vacated generally described as follows:
A portion of Orange Avenue 60.00 feet wide, in the City of West
Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on
E. J. Baldwin's 4th Subd,ivision., per map recorded in Book 8,
Page 186 of Maps on file in the office of the County Recorder
of said County.
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was
acquired and for any other public purpose.that the public
convenience and necessity -require that the same be quitclaimed
to West Covina Hospital.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City
of West Covina a Corporation Quitclaim Deed conveying all right,
title and interest of the City of West Covina in and to said,
real property to West Covina Hospital herein described, and
cause the said Corporation Quitclaim'Deed and a certified copy
of this resolution to be filed for record in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of .Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption -of .this resolution_
