A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA FINDING AND DECLARING
THAT THERE ARE CERTAIN OFF: -STREET PARKING
FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY WHICH ARE
GENERALLY HELD OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE AND
AS TO WHICH THOSE PROVISIONS OF THE VEHICLE
• CODE RELATING TO PUBLIC TRAFFIC REGULATION
AND CONTROL SHALL APPLY.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 21107.8 of the California
Vehicle Code, the City Council of the City of West Covina does
hereby find and declare that there are privately owned and privately
maintained parking facilities in the West Covina Fashion Plaza
located in the West Covina Central Business District Redevelopment
project area which are generally held open for the use of the public
for the purpose of vehicular parking.
SECTION 2. When the owner or operator of the parking
facilities described in Section 1 has caused to be posted at each
entrance to the parking facility signs not less than 17 X 22 inches
in size with lettering with not less than l inch in height to the
effect that the parking facility is subject.to public traffic
regulation and control, the provisions of Section 22350, 23103 and
23109 shall apply to such off-street parking facility.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit co_oies thereof to Sylvan
S. Shulman and to the Chief of Police.
